Daniel, a house church affiliate and network leader in Kenya, requested the help of the CWOWI network to bring much needed water to the Kwoyo Village. The Kwoyo Village has been without a water supply for years, having to walk miles to another village to fill buckets to carry back home. They had the well, but the old generator could no longer be repaired. When solar power became a possibility to power the pump it was clear this low-maintainance solution was the answer. Our friends and those in the cwowi network raised over $10,000 to build the tower, buy the 1,500 gallon tank, solar panels and motor, and all the plumbing – but it is finished!
