First a note about our web meetings this week, to which you are invited.
They are Wednesday and Saturday, 8pm Central time US. See the header above. Each will be part teaching, part discussion, about an hour or so in length. That time of 8pm (20:00) Central US time, is 10am next day in Perth/Singapore, 1pm Sydney, 3pm Christchurch. No other reminder will be sent.
A personal note – thank you for those who have prayed for this garage/mud room addition, and to those who have given extra to help us, a special thank you. Half the roof is on, half the electrical is roughed in – it’s a pay as you go thing so it will take time, but thank you so very much, we are making progress!
I was pushing Chris in his wheelchair over some bumpy ground and he exclaimed, ‘Whoa, watch it cowboy!’, and I just started laughing. He is SO thrilled for the changes it means for him, smooth transitions, because rocks hurt his feet and mud and wet are cold, even with padding placed under. It will be so nice to transition him in his sock covered feet on dry and smooth surface (Malformed feet so no shoe/slipper has ever fit him, so he is in socks no matter the weather/time of year).

I want to remind you of our conference in Tulsa October 8-11 (Columbus Day weekend). Information is in the header above. We are about 25% full already with limited ability to increase what we’ve reserved, though it is just February.
Our weekend conferences/retreats minister to the whole person, spirit and soul and body. It is an investment rather than an expense, for the dividends are amazing. It is that intangible but strongly felt presence of the Lord in our midst, and letting Him do what He wants to do, that really makes a difference.
The EU conference in the Netherlands is Pentecost weekend, and when I realized that something hit my spirit that the Lord is really going to do some good things – we expect a fresh outpouring, a fresh filling this year, a fresh visitation and impartation to us direct from heaven. It’s one of this things where you have an excitement in your spirit but the mind doesn’t know yet what the Father and Lord have planned, other than it is exciting. During the visitation late last year
The Lord spoke to me of “disarray” in the US Democratic Party. He normally doesn’t speak to political things like that, and this was not a choosing of sides, but a request that I pray for the people involved.
He said to pray for 3 people in particular, national leaders, about their life and health, for it will affect the nation. I’m amazed at His mercy, for He said it was something I should pray for those people.
Perhaps some of that can be lessened or avoided altogether. I’ve hesitated saying anything but am compelled in my spirit to speak. I am asking readers to pray for the USA and this election year. But also for those of any party who are clearly set against godly things. Our job is to pray for them that we may live in peace, not get involved in petty and childish arguments on social media and the like. Rise above the fray, staying in peace, and prayer, and watching.
The season in the Spirit is for Christians to be ‘serious’ about their walk with Him, focused on walking with the Father and Lord. That seriousness can be sensed in one’s spirit for those who have ears to hear. There is a sense of seriousness, almost tension, like ‘get with the program’ and get serious about your faith, your relationships, your priorities. Bad things, evil things, are being held back at this time…and they will be held back for some more time. That is significant, and many can feel that evil being ‘held back’ by the Spirit right now…it isn’t in your head, it’s in your spirit, and for many their spirit will bear witness with what I say.
When He tells me to pray about a person, people, or event, it reminds me to how He told in Matthew 24:15 of the anti-Christ coming into the temple, which is an event that is certain to happen. But He then said in v20 said to pray that event not happen in winter nor on a Sabbath. I find that amazing, but it is the way of the prophetic. For our God is so willing to let we His people approach Him to ask an event set to happen my be delayed or changed.
Often times any one of us may have a ‘bad feeling’ in our spirit about something in our life – a car trip, a gathering of the relatives or maybe a meeting at work. We pray and sense the devil may stir up strife or something bad will happen. That communication to our spirit is the Father and Lord telling us to pray, to take authority over the enemy’s plans and shut them down and cast him out. We pray for the people involved, we cast the demon out of that situation, we ask for the Father’s Spirit to guide all that is said and done – and all goes well…and we know God has worked behind the scenes to bring peace or safety or grace to a person or situation. This He does many times with all of us. Same thing above. Pray. Let Him work.
Another thing He mentioned…
Was emotional and mental disorders would become more prevalent, even in His people, but especially in the world, with the world offering no answers. He linked some of it to seducing spirits who teach things a person opens themselves to, and that gradually dominates a person’s thoughts and emotions. He said for me to study more about it because we (our house church network) would encounter more of it in times to come. He also spoke of many Christians having a fear-based faith which his not faith at all, and a fear-based excuse to justify what they listen to, watch, and focus on, which He said open the door for some to emotional and mental disorders and imbalance. Times are coming but are not yet, when some who thought they were people of faith will discover what they thought was faith, was merely emotion and reasoning.
In fact that’s one reason for this month’s 2 part series about shattered lives and the restoring of one’s moral framework, trying to get to the core of things He told me the end of the year about mental issues.
That was for the world – for many in the body of Christ: Good things ahead
For many this year is going to be a year of blessing, a year of things coming together, a transition year when things finally get settled. It’s like the first bud of spring, the way some will see things finally ‘pop out’ into new life and quickly get settled. He spoke of those who know what to do in their spirit, having to choose in this time to humble themselves and do it, or go with plans of the flesh and apparent ease and leave His will behind. But for many this will be a year when things come together for them.
That was one of the most significant things He told me, through summer and into early fall some real good things happening to so many of His people, orchestrated by divine timing, things longed for finally happening. Even with the things to pray about, a couple of which I’ve shared above, He was more positive about what He is doing among His people; what the world does is like water off a duck’s back. The world’s events don’t affect His will in His people’s lives as they walk with Him. The real focus of His excitement is His people growing up, loving one another, becoming active in each other’s lives, choosing to serve one another.
I think I’ll close for this month, that’s plenty to pray about.
