We had a wonderful time visiting Uganda. We shared time praying for each other, worshiping together, and sharing our individual testimonies. Once we were all well acquainted, we discussed the operation of KWOWI (Kids Without Walls International) on their end to include good financial stewardship, budgeting, expense reporting and local governmental compliance.
We traveled to 4 different house churches in the region and then traveled around to about 8 different house church member homes where they received a pig from the Pass the Pig Project. The economic impact of something seemingly so small was astounding.
We then visited the Uganda Christian Based Nursery & Primary School. The kids were so excited because we set up a lunch for them. They don’t always have the finances to provide food for the kids so it was a treat.
With happy hearts full of joy we left Kagadi. I look forward with great expectation to what will be accomplished through KWOWI Uganda. We will continue working with KWOWI Uganda and KWOWI Kenya through the next year to make sure these vulnerable children related to the house church network are taken care of.
