Before I share a prophetic vision from the Lord, it will be helpful to know what I had been asking Him about, for the vision was in part, answer to those things.
These were thoughts rolling around in my mind, that I’m sharing with all transparency. It started with me asking the Lord if He had anything He wanted me to share with the readers of (this) my emailed newsletter. Specifically, anything prophetic.
In the same conversation, this was after the January 19-23 Davos conference, I was asking Him about what Europe will look like in the future as it relates to end-times. The US has told them the post-World War 2 structure of dependence on the USA is over, that the EU must be independent. I was curious since The Revelation reflects a clearly independent Europe.
I had also been thinking how in the last century immigration was all about moving to a nation and assimilating into that culture. In the past, immigration was for jobs, but in recent years immigration has been to receive welfare benefits. Some have done so with the intent of changing the host nation’s culture. It’s been the same for Europe. 3rd world immigrants who don’t assimilate bring 3rd world problems to their 1st world host nation. That is unsustainable, for those cultures and in some cases, religions, are mostly incompatible with the Constitutions and laws of western nations. The US has shut down illegal immigration and has been deporting criminal illegal’s, with the expectation that if you come to the US you will assimilate into American culture.
I had been thinking how the US economy is strong, unemployment and inflation low. I had been thinking how the EU is behind the US and China in technology and manufacturing due in part to lack of investment, and because of reliance on old industries like automotive and medium-technology sectors with little investment in high-tech or Research and Development. The Revelation describes an independent Europe, so prophetically speaking, the old post-WW2 era structure of US dependence has to go away.
All of that and more is what I had been thinking on when I brought it up to the Lord.
I was asking Him about the future of Europe, how their ‘new’ independence from the US will come together, the rise of a stronger EU Commission and Parliament, and so on. As He does so often, He side-stepped most of my questions by giving me a vision about the larger move of the Father’s Spirit around the world. He did that in the gospels too; someone would ask Him a direct question and He would side-step that question to get to the heart of the matter.
You know how that is; You are asking him about a bill due on Friday but He doesn’t answer that, instead deals with you about your anger towards someone at work. LOL. In Matthew 19: 16-22 the Rich Young Ruler asked Jesus: “Good master, what must I do to have eternal life?” Rather than answer him directly Jesus replied: “Why are you calling me good? There is only one good, that is God.” In other words, Jesus got right to the heart of the matter: By calling me good, are you calling me God? The man didn’t answer, so Jesus moved on, tackling the issue another way, by telling him to sell all he had and follow Him. That method made the man face his own heart, forcing him to consider if he believed Jesus is God in the flesh, and if so, does his money and status really matter? Jesus does the same with us for He never changes. You ask Him about a bill, and He talks to you about your attitude. You point out what someone did wrong, and He avoids that and instead deals with you about controlling yourself spending.
The vision:
I was hovering in the air above a sea-side city, looking at all kinds of homes and office buildings with a few skyscrapers. The difference was that all the buildings were 1 level except for skyscrapers and a few other multi-story buildings. To my left a huge ocean wave was coming at the city, the wave being many times larger and taller than the whole city. It was curled over the city ready to break like a scene right out of a disaster movie. Then I looked at the base of the wave and saw a small wave, curled like the big one, moving on the city. When it broke it wasn’t violent, but gentle, like a small wave on a sandy beach, but with a determined force that flowed into every single building. It filled every basement and every ground floor to the ceiling but not above, filling the streets to that same level. Inside the buildings on the ground floor were people going about their business, walking through the water with the same ease as they do with normal air. Few knew they were in the water. No one was gasping for breath. They just went about their business. The water was clear, pure, and saturated everything but left everything completely dry, normal, and intact. Everything about that wave was peaceful and gentle.
The ground floor and the 1 level buildings is where ‘average’ people live and work. The water touched everything and everyone, whether they realized it or not – the water being the Spirit of God. While I watched I thought of Laban’s comment to Jacob in Genesis 30: 27: “I have learned by experience that the Lord has blessed me for your sake.” Some realized God was blessing them, others didn’t know they were receiving the benefits and overflow from the grace on God’s people. And they were everywhere, like secret agents working alongside everyone else, God’s people being a light and bringing God’s favor wherever they went, whether they or the others realized it. He was overseeing them nonetheless.
It told me in the future there would be such grace on the people of the Father there will be tangible evidence of that grace, though some if not most won’t realize why things are light, happy, filled with grace and a good ‘corporate culture’ and blessing. It made me think to be more aware of Christ in me, who I take everywhere because He is in my spirit, and to realize with Christ in me I am a majority in any situation: I have the authority to use the Name against demons. I have the mind of Christ if I come up against a situation where no one knows the answer. I can be independent of circumstances knowing how to abound and be brought low, for I can do all things in Christ. Be aware of that.
The larger wave broke over the city in a more violent way, but none of the buildings were destroyed, though some had damage from the initial flow, that I somehow knew would be put back together but in a different manner from what previously existed. The water washed over the skyscrapers and other buildings, then settled to be at the first floor level. As it happened I understood the skyscrapers are government institutions, the shorter multi-story buildings associated with the government -in particular government departments and policies. Most of the buildings were not damaged, which communicates what is in place now, will be in the time of The Revelation’s events. (With minor changes as seen in the minor damage)
Interestingly, as I watched, the water started to rise into the skyscrapers and other multi-story buildings, but it wasn’t rising in the streets. It was rising only from within all those multi-story buildings, some more than others, from the bottom up – it stayed about 10′ deep (3m) in the street and in the 1 level buildings, but only rose in the tall buildings.
As it started filling taller buildings from the bottom up, I could see through the windows to see people screaming and scrambling up stairs to the higher floors to get away from the water, as they were very much afraid of getting even the hem of their clothes wet by it. The buildings remained, but some of the people in the multi-story buildings and skyscrapers loved the water and in the lower floors of the skyscrapers went about their business with smiles and joy. But the people in the upper part of the buildings which were not underwater, and worked to stay in the upper floors and reassemble their work day as things had always been. Then the vision disappeared.
He concluded with this and then was gone:
“Europe must become independent to fulfill its role in the end times, and everyone and everything will be touched by the Father’s Spirit. Much turmoil and conflict await, but you should keep your eyes on what I’m doing, as the Father’s Spirit fills the earth with His knowledge and glory. Have you not read it?” The verse He referenced is Habakkuk 2: 14: “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge and glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” If you read Habakkuk 2 you will find it is about good vs evil and the triumph of the Lord over evil. The vision of the ocean waves breaking over the buildings are directly linked to the battle between good and evil happening and as it will be happening.
The smaller wave that wasn’t noticed represents the Father’s Spirit moving through the world, changing it by changing people, mostly the common man. The blessings on the body of Christ flowing to others is just a by-product of His Spirit being poured out on ‘average’ people going about their lives. I point out in my book, Return of the First Church, when the Spirit of God is poured out in the earth freedom, inventions, creativity for societies is a by-product. When governments shut out the Spirit of God there is no freedom, no creativity, no inventiveness. Just oppression.
The larger wave too is God’s Spirit, affecting institutions in Europe symbolized by the many skyscrapers looming above the 1 level buildings of the common man – but I understood His answer had to do with a world-wide move of His Spirit. The people in the upper part of the skyscrapers were in government, though some loved the water and stayed where they were or moved up to the extent they could stay in the water, but most ran away from the water/Spirit of God affecting them.
My focus is not so much political news, but on what the Father is doing around the world by His Spirit. Governments are affected of course as seen in the vision. But the larger news is what the Father is doing. We see SO many coming to the Lord in this day. I heard a Chinese house church leader say they estimate 1 million Chinese come to the Lord EACH MONTH, and all are in home based churches. In the west we see Christians wanting the genuine, the real relationships, so they are meeting in homes for fellowship, food, prayer, teaching and sharing what the Lord is doing.
I find it amazing I asked the Lord about politics and He chose to show me what the Father is doing around the world that will shake up politics around the world. It tells us not to focus on headlines, but more on the little wave filling up the basements and ground level floors of homes and businesses of ‘average’ people. We are among those who value being known of God more than known of men.
Resilient Faith;
Our son Brian has written a very good book on the deconstruction and reconstruction of his faith, entitled: Resilient Faith; Standing firm in a fallen world. He wanted to put into print his story, his crisis of faith, so that people who have loved ones who have ‘fallen away from the Lord’ or ‘backslidden’, or are ‘deconstructing’ their faith right now, might be able to understand the process. Barb and I knew in his law enforcement career that he was wrestling with things, but we didn’t know what. We are thankful the Lord walked him through the process of deconstruction, and encourage other parents to trust that the Lord is doing the same with their loved ones.
I think Resilient Faith should be in everyone’s reading collection, perhaps as a resource for someone you know. Consider all the Christians you know who have been affected by a spouse, child, or grandchild who have stepped back from their faith, you’ll realize nearly everyone has been touched by it. Very often, like the man I described above, it isn’t necessarily rejecting the Lord outright, but a very deep and private process of the heart to examine every aspect of all things called God. That process of deconstruction of one’s faith can be very healthy, as it proved to be for Brian, for it caused him to discover his own faith in the Lord minus all the packaging and church culture. Just Jesus. Just the Father.

Personal prayer request:
Chris will be moving back to his old group home in the next 2 weeks, which had been shut down after Covid. The move back is much better for Chris as it was built with wheelchairs in mind. The request is for the aides. Chris is very people oriented and gets attached to his aides, who are not making the move with him. We haven’t met the new ones. , whom we have not met. We are going to have to spend most of March training the aides to Chris’ likes and dislikes, and coaching him through getting to know the new ones. Know too that I pray for you as your mail in your prayer requests, and we all so appreciate your financial donations – more than you know! Thank you!
