Hi all,
Our whole family is so very thankful for the many mailed in cards, notes, emails, messages and financial gifts so many of you have sent us during this time. We have felt your prayer support, and the financial gifts have very much helped towards the very expensive requirements for bringing someone’s remains home to the US from half way around the world. Words really can’t convey how much we appreciate you! As I write this Jason’s funeral is scheduled for the 17th. Though we know he is in heaven, we need the closure that will happen having family gather to lay him to rest with military honors. Thank you for your prayers!
Many have asked about Chris and I thank you for that. Chris is mentally around age 4, just a child in a 46-year-old man’s body. The Lord truly watches out for him, though he hasn’t fully grasped Jason is in heaven. For example, last Friday during his weekly Friday/Saturday home visit about 11am we saw a large business jet fly over on its way to land at the Grove, Oklahoma airport.
Later that afternoon about 3pm I felt led to drive to the airport to see if we might be able to see it. The Grove airport is small, and sure enough, we were able to park just on the other side of the fence from where the plane sat. A few minutes later a car pulled up and 2 people got out, made their way to the jet and boarded it. Just a few minutes later the engines started and it rolled onto the runway and took off – Chris was SO thrilled. He said: “Yep, the Lord just loves jets.” He wanted to call Jason and Brian to tell them about the jet, and of course telling Brian wasn’t a problem. But the rest of the day he said many times: “We need to call Jason.” And I kept having to tell him we can’t call Jason because Jason died and is in heaven now. He talked about the jet until midnight.
Before he went to sleep he asked again to call Jason, but finally said in a quiet voice to himself; “You can’t Chris, Jason lives in heaven now.” We think he is starting to understand. Prayers please.
I believe the Lord watches over each of us in the same way He does Chris, on our level, according to events in our lives, as we need to look for His involvement and presence. Chris’ child-like faith that the Lord just loves jets and so arranges our steps to be able to have that experience last week, is something I aspire to each day. I look for His involvement, His arrangement of my day, and I have developed the habit of expressing my thankfulness with each ‘coincidence.’ Be grateful. Develop an attitude that first looks at what the Father’s higher purpose would be in everything, and give thanks.
Tulsa conference
This is an important gathering spiritually speaking, with the Lord telling me some specifics. Think and pray about joining us.
Iran war
I’ll be sharing more prophetically at our conference in the Netherlands in a couple of weeks (May 1-3) as some of it has to do with Europe, but I’ll share some things here. This action against Iran is part of setting the stage for the Ezekiel 38-39 war. Using updated names for the nations Ezekiel names, that war will include Russia, Turkey, and Iran coming against Israel and her allies.
Ezekiel 39: 12 says it will take 7 months for Israel to bury the dead enemy bodies, which indicates the attack will involve a huge number of soldiers on foot. Ezekiel 38: 9 and 16 seem to mention an air war, in today’s usage, drones, for 38: 16 says they will be ‘as a cloud to cover the land’. The current action against Iran coupled with the use of drones in the Russia/Ukraine war, set the stage point to a future attack using man-power and drones against Israel.
Ezekiel 38:11 says the attack will come against an Israel at rest and peace, stating they are attacking Israel: ‘the land of un-walled villages, to those that are at rest.’ This indicates the outcome of this action against Iran will be a local peace in Israel – watch for talks with Lebanon to be in the news. In light of what Ezekiel says about the future attack against Israel being a land invasion and with (apparently) most of Iran’s long range rocket capabilities destroyed, look for peace in Israel or ‘rest’ as Ezekiel calls it, to be the outcome. It is interesting that Ezekiel states there will be local peace inside Israel, while on the outside there is a plot to invade it with an overwhelming number of soldiers (and possibly drones).
It should also be noted that when the army invades, 38: 19-22 says there will be a huge earthquake in that area at the time, and ‘overflowing rain and great large hailstones, fire and brimstone’ – which would knock out drones and confuse an army comprised of multiple languages. Clearly we have time before this will happen, so set aside the words of those prophesying otherwise.
KWOWI
Many children who have been supported by sponsors these last few years are growing up and desiring to go to trade school or university. Tuition per semester varies between a few hundred dollars and $1000 or more at the university level. We haven’t mentioned it to anyone though CWOWI and KWOWI have paid out of unspecified donations the tuition and books for several students.
We don’t want to start a whole new level of sponsorship, but are open to receiving general donations marked ‘education’, which will be used to help students as the need arises, on an individual basis. To this point our leaders in Kenya have screened students who say they want to move on to a trade school or university and given us recommendations in the belief those students would be successful. If you’d like to help with education mark your donation to KWOWI with a note. We are currently helping a student whose major is in agricultural and another majoring in engineering as I recall. A couple others we are helping are entering trade schools – to give you an idea of who we are currently helping out of un-designated funds. Thank you! Education and work skills are lifting these students economically and some of that will come back to help their families as well, so the impact on just 1 student is huge.
In closing
We will be at our conference in the Netherlands April 27-May 6, thank you for your prayers. Please consider coming to our Tulsa conference in October, it will be spiritually rich in so many ways. KWOWI kids are amazing, I hope you will also see our online newsletter that has more details. We have opportunities to help with trade school and college expenses for some of our kids who have been with us long enough to have graduated lower schools – we need your support if so led. So much more, but we want to say thank you so much for your love and support for our family!
