Hi all,
I wanted to mention the web meetings this Saturday the 21st, 7pm Central US time, and again Wednesday the 25th 7pm, Central US Time. I understand just as I’m sending this that the Saturday meeting is already booked, so only the Wednesday the 25th still has openings.
I’ll be sharing in more detail some of the things the Lord told me in December, and other prophetic things about this time and season in the body of Christ. It will also include some house church basics. If the need is there we will schedule another meeting next week.
On a personal note, thank you again to those who have helped us financially with the addition. About the time you are receiving this will be the first time we’ve been able to load and unload Chris and his wheelchair on a covered cement floored sidewalk and/or garage in at least 13 years. If you’ve ever cared for someone who is physically limited, you know these little things make all the difference. Because of his malformed feet, he only wears socks, no matter the weather – so a solid surface to get in and out is SO much better than putting a pad down to try to keep his feet from getting soaked, or muddy, or icy cold. Thank you! There is a light at the end of this tunnel and we’re almost there.
We’re still cutting and splitting firewood, and our deck is still a wreck from the tornado last autumn, but you know how life is, one crisis at a time, lol. Barb’s final count was 17 trees lost of about 33 to the tornado, plus the deck, my truck totaled but drivable, her car damaged – you know how storms are – they come and go, and then we rebuild. That’s the way life is, and even what the nation and world are going through now. The storm will pass.
Some of you will remember last year that I shared the Lord visited me in December instead of His usual January visitation, to give me some information on the coming year. I commented at the time it was unusual, but several things were going to happen in January and I surmised things would be busy and we’d be preoccupied with events at that time. What a January it was! From the impeachment focus ending to the start of the Corona virus, and so much more, things have been non-stop.
Several times over the years the Lord has said to me: “But you must be about the Father’s business.” That means to Him, He has it all under control, and we – all of us in Him – must be about the Father’s business, whatever that business is, in our lives. That business is always about growth and people.
It’s not the time to be afraid – yes do what is right in the natural – but do so with peace in your spirit, knowing Christ is in you, and you and He make a majority.
I encourage everyone to meet regularly with those closest to the same spiritual page, as you can, when you can, even if that means just your family. Start there. House church isn’t about the house but the relationships found in that house and family. I’ve repeatedly said in recent months the season in the Spirit is to get serious about our faith, and this current crisis has driven that point home for many.
One of the things He told me in December was, “You’re just getting your toes wet in the ocean compared to what is coming your way. You’ll see lots of growth as more of my people get serious about their faith, about their relationships, about growing up in Me.”
As of now we are still planning on going to the Dutch conference the end of May. I continue to sense such a saturation of peace and excitement about ‘Christ in you’ for that Pentecost weekend.
Also remember our October conference in Tulsa, 8-11th (Columbus Day weekend). After such a tumultuous start of the year, I’m sure the Lord has some amazing things for us this fall.
