Hi all,
I’m getting many emails asking the prophetic significance of the battle between Hamas and Israel.
Israel and Hamas
Politically speaking, it is acknowledged and common knowledge (at least here in the US) that when the US President on May 9 said both he and Iran want to re-enter the deal that President Trump set aside, it emboldened Iran to arm their terrorist group, Hamas. And the demonstrations and rocket attacks began.
Spiritually speaking the stage is being set for the Ezekiel 38-39 war between Israel and her allies, and Russia, Iran, Turkey and their allies. In Zechariah 12: 2-3 the Lord says He will make Jerusalem ‘a trembling cup’ and ‘a burdensome stone’ to all the people ‘round about’ (in the region), and Judah (Israel) and Jerusalem will be under siege.
While those verses in Zechariah are about the circumstances just before the return of the Lord at Armageddon, the core truth of the world battling over Jerusalem remains, for the spirit which hates Israel hasn’t changed.
The verses following, Zechariah 12: 5-7, are significant to our day as well. The Lord says the inhabitants of Judah will look to Jerusalem for their help, and the people will be united as one against the enemy. He says they will be so bold they will be like fire among firewood or a lit flame to dry sheaves, and ‘they will devour all the people round about’.
That means Israel will very zealously defend themselves. Pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem.
Prophetic, what’s coming
Many have contacted me asking if the Covid vaccine is the ‘mark of the beast’, and it is not. But what you will see is the start down a slippery slope of economic restrictions for those who don’t get it. You’ll hear of companies hiring only those who have been vaccinated. You’ll hear of education and school related requirements of being vaccinated. Travel restrictions for those not vaccinated and more, all involving economics which leads to tracking social media activity. We have seen this grading system already in Twitter and Facebook removing posts that differ from what those companies believe. This is the start of a social grading system that will morph to become more intrusive – ‘big brother’ examining your social media comment which will be tied into your credit report – and things like that.
Years ago when the Iron Curtain came down in 1991, I saw a news report about the files of the dreaded East German police known as the Stasi, being opened. Western reporters were amazed that so many neighbors had spied on their friends and secretly reported their activity to the Stasi, which bettered their standing with them.
After I had seen that report on TV and was thinking on it, the Lord spoke to me and said this: “There is coming a day when they won’t need a network of neighbors, for spying will be done electronically.” That was long before the Internet and I didn’t understand what He told me. Now I do.
And in 2001 when the US legislation known as The Patriot Act was passed, which in part allowed for electronic spying with certain permissions and limits, I asked the Father what He thought about it. He replied: “Laws that were passed to protect my people will one day be used against them.”
From Daniel in Babylon, to Esther in Persia, to Christians in Rome, to Nazi’s, the USSR, and modern China – those who are different are the problem people keeping the nation from fulfilling its agenda. Marginalized, mocked, and finally economic and socially limiting them is their solution.
Here is an interesting link that came out over a year ago, but perhaps it is worth sharing now. I’ve held onto this link about an invisible tattoo that can be used for tracking vaccinations. It came out in December 2019 but the technology is further along now.
I’ve shared the link on Facebook but I don’t think many people understand how this invisible tattoo technology could be used. It is an invisible tattoo applied like a stick on bandage and peeled off, that leaves micro-dots of information about a child’s vaccination record. It is to be used in places where there is no system of record keeping, but it shows you how this ‘quantum-dot tattoo’ can be used for future economic purposes, because once you can electronically put vaccinations records into an invisible tattoo on the forehead, you can put economic data as well:

That’s why this month’s teaching series on CD/MP3 is on ‘Debt’ and next month (June) will be on the ‘666’ on where all this is going – economic and social issues are key to understanding where it is all headed, how it progresses.
And remember other signs of the end of the age include ‘because iniquity will increase the love of many will turn cold’ of Matthew 24: 12, and the nations are angry, from The Revelation 11: 18. Look for increased coldness of heart in unbelievers, which turns to anger and aggressiveness in promoting their views.
Salt of the earth – let’s be salty, shall we?
“You are the salt of the earth. If the salt loses its saltiness, what good is it? It will be cast out to be walked on by men. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill that can’t be hid.” Matthew 5: 12-13
Salt is a preservative even to our day. And it is seasoning. That is us. The earth can’t go fully rotten until the salt is removed, so stay salty folks! We are a light on a hill and the world can’t go completely dark until the light is removed.
Light shines on and exposes dirt. Salt hurts if put on a wound, so learn discretion – as Jesus said, if you are rejected in one city then simply leave, don’t pound down the doors. Mark 4: 33 says Jesus spoke to people ‘as they were able to receive it’. Learn not to cross that line; wait until the heart is open.
In the body of Christ – grow up body of Christ! (my 2 cents worth)
Over the past 6-7 months I’ve heard of SO many Christians breaking off friendships and fellowship with their Christian friends because of political views. How amazing that so much of the Christian world lives in such freedom that we can pick and choose our friends based on politics. Isn’t that sad? All it does is expose spiritual babies who think they have higher and greater knowledge and revelation than their (now former) friends.
Where in scripture do we see such teaching, to break fellowship and friendship based on someone not liking Caesar but someone else does? Where do we see people taught to preach politics in the gathering of the saints?
I thought the gathering of the saints was about Jesus and the discipleship process within each person there gathered! In our network we repeatedly tell people to leave politics, their favorite ‘pet’ doctrine, any social agenda, any bias or prejudice at the door – when we gather together it is about Jesus! Christ in us the hope of glory!
How is it Christians don’t value friendships in Christ?
These actions allows the spirits of the world political stage to take control of their relationships in Christ. They are idolaters, elevating political stance above Christ in each other. Elevating personal bias, prejudice, theology above Christ in you, Christ in me – He accepts us both so shouldn’t we follow that example?
Paul teaches to break fellowship for unrepentant moral failure, like the man sleeping with his step mother in I Corinthians 5:5. He says to break fellowship with those who purposely cause strife and divisions and purposely device others. Romans 16: 17-18
He did have some saying they were loyal to Paul and others saying they were loyal to Apollos – and he told them to grow up because God is the Source and they are behaving like they aren’t even born again. I Corinthians 3: 1-15
Have they no fear of the Lord? Have they no sense the days in which we live? Have they no sense of the seriousness of faith and what the Spirit is saying to the Church?
For those forsaken by friends, our part is to be there when their inevitable disillusionment happens. Typically false prophets never repent, but are infamous for what we would call, ‘kicking the can down the road’.
In other words, they won’t be accountable for the dozens of false and therefore failed prophecies to this point, but will say the timing was off or it will happen in 3 or 4 years and “then you’ll all see I was right” – that sort of thing. It doesn’t matter if they predicted Jesus would return last May or September but didn’t, or an election outcome, or some planet aligning that will cause massive earthquakes – it’s hard for people to say ‘I was wrong’, it’s much easier to say ‘I don’t understand it but I know I’m right, you’ll see.’
The command:
‘…forsaking not the gathering together of yourselves as the practice of some is, but exhorting one another and so much the more as you see the day approaching.’* “As you see the day approaching.” There is supposed to be a sense of accountability, a sense of the times in which we live should be causing us to get closer to one another and who and what really matter. *Hebrews 10: 25
When we gather together with the Lord’s presence in our midst, it isn’t to talk politics. It isn’t to talk about controversy. It’s about Jesus, people. Each of us is a living temple of the Lord, each of us have the Holy Spirit within. That fact should place those believers we know at a far higher priority level in our hearts and minds than unbelievers. We gather to hear what Christ is doing in each other’s lives, to worship or discus and learn and share what He is doing.
Value one another
Don’t look at what divides, focus on Who you have in common. I’m always amazed how a Christian will go to work for a person or corporate culture that doesn’t appreciate them, that they don’t agree with politically, and they will be a great employee in spite of that. Yet let a good Christian friend express a different political or doctrinal view on something, and they cut off all contact. What hypocrites they are!
They will put up with strife in their family and work to maintain a relationship with relatives who are against all they believe in, but let a Christian friend express a different view and they cut off the relationship. What a hypocrite!
Grow up body of Christ – we in the west haven’t a clue what is going to happen. Some do and can sense it. Invest in relationships in Christ, cherish fellow believers, you’re going to know them forever, literally forever, so make peace now if possible. Build a bridge and hope they will build one your way. If you build a bridge and you find the’ve built a wall, then leave the bridge for the day they may tear down the wall and build towards you.
Check your love walk. Check your priorities. Be willing to invest in relationships in Christ. Pay that price.
Meetings update: We still have room for our Denton, Texas meeting June 26-27 thanks to a larger room. Bozeman in July is full, sorry. Consider joining us in Manchester, New Hampshire during peak leaf viewing season in October. We hope to see our European friends in the Netherlands and Latvia in September – depending on travel rules.
Kenya, Uganda update
We are putting a sturdy fence around the well drilled in the Kenyan village as the last part of that project, which the people are thrilled with – both with the water and peace of mind the fence will bring. In Uganda we are on our 3rd set of 20 pigs for our Ugandan house churches. They are giving training and pigs to 1 family per house church that when they have piglets, others may raise pigs and then eventually have that means of income and food. Donations for future pigs and simple things we get request for often in our affiliates are appreciated – money for home, food, and such. Just mark ‘Africa’ if you’d like to help.
This was longer than I originally intended, but wanted to communicate the Lord is asking His body to judge itself, our love walk, our priorities. Many are responding while others are caught up in the spirit of the world.
We are well, very appreciative of your support. We are a small ministry but affecting a lot of people in many nations, and every donation helps more than you know.
Thank you for your prayers and support!
Blessings, John & Barb, Brian & Amy
