Qualities of a CWOWI House Church Affiliate

These balanced standards are the qualities that set our affiliates apart. Please indicate you meet and/or agree with each standard (“Not that we lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, for you stand firm in your faith.” 1 Cor. 1:24).

We have completed research about house church and understand that our house church is not just a small group but is our “church”.

To include: the rotation of who leads a meeting, the rotation of where a meeting is held, how to manage children, how to manage disagreements and how to multiply. (Acts 2:42, Rom 12:6-8 etc.).

We align with the CWOWI house church network by uniting with the CWOWI statement of faith.

In an effort to not become isolated, we agree to keep in general contact with the CWOWI administration and regional leaders.

This can be done through: social media, video meetings, regional conferences, phone, text and email.

We will not use our house church as a method of control or for personal financial gain.

We will promptly report any sexual or physical/domestic abuse of house church members to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

If we choose to shut down and dissolve the affiliated house church, we will notify CWOWI administration in writing.

We understand tithes and offerings to CWOWI are not required to be a house church affiliate though financial support is welcome.

We understand as an affiliate we are independent, self-governed and legally responsible for our own actions.

We are aware our information is confidential and will only be accessed by CWOWI administration. If we are approved, our name and email may be shared with regional leadership in an effort to connect us with other CWOWI affiliated house churches in our area.

We understand the CWOWI logo and name is the intellectual property of CWOWI. if we choose to name our affiliated church or non profit organization we may use the term “an affiliate of CWOWI” but not the name “CWOWI” or “Church Without Walls International” in the title. This is to avoid confusion. The use of the CWOWI logo may be used only with written permission by CWOWI administration. Unless otherwise stated, we understand our house church is not a direct representative of CWOWI administration.
