Paul said Stephanas and family had ‘addicted’ (KJV) themselves to ministry. He said Epaphroditus had prayed and worked himself to sickness. Solomon went from positive thoughts in Proverbs, to being preoccupied with very dark and negative thoughts in Ecclesiastes. These and more are signs of spiritual addictions. Sometimes a person can even be addicted to the ‘high’ they get in worship or a service.
